As an artist I create two dimensional work on canvas and paper. Each style and series has its own story. Much of the work is inspired by New York where I am based. I have tried to describe some of the ideas, inspiration and styles below but, as you know, art is best viewed through our own eyes.

MEATPACKING DISTRICT
URBAN LANDSCAPES
I lived in the meat packing district when it was just that. Full of drag, drugs, leather and trucks lined the streets. A new culture of art, fashion, technology live there now. Much of the grit has had a modern glam make-over. One of my favorite spots, then and now.

I happened upon a tiny village of abandoned fishing shacks at the edge of town, right on the river , that were once used for hunting, fishing and gathering dating back over 100 years. Overgrown and in beautiful disrepair I was enchanted and began photographing and painting them … and still am.
